MCCF needs toys desperately today, Wednesday Dec. 16

Dear Community,

We are planning to distribute gift bags of toys to our large list of MCCF Giving Tree children this Thursday afternoon and Friday evening.

It seems that someone removed a large number of our giving tree tags with no idea of fulfilling them. As a result, for the first time in two decades we are short toys and tags being returned.

We are turning to the community for your help.

Can you please go shop for a child and return a bag with toys and/or art supplies to one of our four trees by December 16!

Please return unwrapped gifts in a paper or plastic bag with the tag attached to any of our four giving trees by tomorrow. Untagged gifts will be gratefully accepted.

The four locations are Harvest at Mendosas, Harvest at Boatyard, the Mendocino Hotel (all open until 10 PM Wednesday night) and the Mendo-Lake Credit Union (open to 5 PM)

Please add new toys, dolls, art supplies, puzzles and games appropriate for children ages 3-10 years of age. We don't want to disappoint any child.

Thank you. Community love wins! Let's not let the Grinch steal Christmas. Gifts should be left with staff at each gift tree location.

Thank you,
