College of the Redwoods Board of trustees held a public hearing in Ft. Bragg
This was to give local residents a chance to give testimony as to why the College should continue to offer courses on the Mendocino Coast at the local Todd Point Campus.

There was a scoping session for the proposed Environmental impact report concerning the Coastal Transfer station which is under consideration out on Highway 20.
A group of opponents calling for local elected officials to Dump the Dump was on hand to address the firm out of Eureka who has been selected by the Mendocino Solid Waste Authority to create the document. The purpose of this scoping session was to allow the public to let the consultants know what they want to see addressed in the EIR.
