I ventured into professional photography about ten years ago. Until then I had a shop in San Francisco specializing in acoustic bass restoration. I’d always been interested in cameras, but hadn’t considered photography as a profession until I move here. The spectacular coast line and pristine landscape had a profound influence on my photography interests.
Over the years I found that interest in land and seascapes shifting toward photographing people. Shooting in a studio, at sporting event, concert, wedding or on the street, the camera affords me the ability to capture unexpected and deeply moving emotional moments that would otherwise go unnoticed and lost. Thank you for visiting my site, I hope you’ve enjoyed what you’ve see.
I approach wedding photography as a documentarian. In addition to photographing your family portraits, I focus on capturing those emotionally engaging moments which will forever bring you back to this glorious day in your lives.
Anticipating and recording the fleeting, heart felt moments is what motivates my creativity. What better place then a wedding, where such joyous loving encounters are on display. Unlike family or friends, I am not part of the festivities, affording me the advantage of being an objective outside observer.
