Mendocino TV will broadcast live the upcoming Planning Commission meeting Wednesday, January 28th at 6pm, at the Dietrich Center.
At issue is the proposed Hare Creek Shopping Center. A great deal of public outcry on both sides of the proposal has inundated the MCN list serve. We’ll be following it closely and keep you informed as each bit of information arises on Mendocino TV.

I’m excited, and enrolled, by the sustainable design features of this project. I look forward to a Grocery Outlet sited on the coast, and real savings on known brands of organic products.
Excellent interview, Amy! I hadn’t seen you on TV before and I thought you were the very best. Calm, composed, asked thoughtful questions and you really brought out the best of Marie. I am 100% opposed to this but was reassured to hear our cumbersome, government process grinding forth. I hope it is a fruitful meeting. Will you be doing more coverage on this?
And what’s with the list serve post by your editor this evening? Was it a joke? Or a provocation to get some good answers?

Just as you described, an attempt to get relevant arguments to a complex issue, other than, Grass is good – Development is bad. The Planning Commission is working under certain legal guidelines and it would be nice if the public testimony stayed relevant to those guidelines.
