Mendocino Coast District Hospital Planning Committee Meeting November 28 2017

The Mendocino Coast District Hospital Planning Committee held a meeting November 28, 2017. The agenda covered updates on the potential revenue options, voter survey, plant services, strategic initiatives and the Prime Project, some of which Mendocino TV has covered in other posts and meetings.

There was basically nothing new on the tax proposals, which will be discussed after MCDH completes a survey of 300 voters in January.  CEO Edwards did review his business plan from last year and this committee will be updating it in the near future.

New member Carole White asked a number of questions during the meeting, some elicited information from new employee Nancy Schmid, who is covering a number of jobs and responsibilities.

These short clips give the viewer a flavor of what happened on these topics including an interesting overview of California’s Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD) and its role in overseeing the MCDH facilities projects.
