MCDH Special Meeting April 1 2019

The Mendocino Coast District Hospital (MCDH) Board of Directors interviewed two candidates for Interim Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on April 1, 2019. Former CEO/CFO Wayne Allen and Nancy Schmid, MCDH Facilities Supervisor and former CEO of Healdsburg District Hospital, were interviewed and impressed Board Members. 

Treasurer John Redding, while not detailing specific reasons, thought the process itself was flawed and consequently will leave some people dissatisfied with the outcome, regardless of who was chosen.  The entire Interim CEO application process was not presented to the public, so we do not know why Mr. Redding objected.
